Orbea Continental Team held a rally Thursday and Friday bringing together the 12 members of staff for the 2010 season and where they begin to plan the season subsidiary of Euskaltel Euskadi team, the team reported.
This meeting will be held in the town of Derio Bilbao and will serve as first contact of a set in which there have been significant changes.
Following the successful 2009 season in which the director Alvaro Gonzalez de Galdeano and four cyclists have made the leap to Euskaltel-Euskadi Romain Sicard, Jonathan Castroviejo, Miguel Minguez, Daniel Sesma-blue training presents seven new faces in 2010.
On the technical side, Alex Diaz will be responsible for assuming leadership of the team sports, in the wake of the elder brother at the wheel Galdeano professional team.
The new additions are the Orbea Continental Mikel Landa Xabier Zabalo, Noel Martin and Jon Aberasturi coming from the joint training of young talents Naturgas Energy Ion Izagirre, Seguros Bilbao, Adrian Sáez de Arregui, Caja Rural, and Aritz Etxebarria, Bidel - Kirolgi.
Runners still on the team are Richard Garcia, Mikel Ilundain, Joseba Larralde, Andoni Blázquez and Beñat Urain. As for the low, Aitor Olano, Ibon Lavin Eriz Eneko Ruiz de Erentxun and have left the discipline Echeverz blue.
