The president of the Spanish Cycling Federation (RFEC), Juan Carlos Castano, wanted a favorable outcome for the cyclist Alberto Contador, but promised that the process will be addressed without special treatment, following a request from the International Cycling Union (UCI) to open a disciplinary inquiry into the corridor. The UCI asked the RFEC to open an investigation on the outcome described as "abnormal" counter in the doping control performed on 21 July, ahead of the Tourmalet stage, when the Spaniard took the yellow jersey of the Tour de France which is three-time champion. http://thecyclingsideoftheforce.blogspot.com/
